Alina Rios

Artistic Director, Playwright, and Movement Director (she/they)

Alina Rios is founding editor of Bracken magazine and a published poet and fiction writer. She now writes for stage and film with her plays being produced on both sides of the Atlantic by Slackline Productions, Nylon Fusion, Kibo Productions, and others. Her short film pressed/bluebells premiered in Cannes in 2022 and another short film Soot Darlings is currently in consideration with film festivals. She’s a Dramatist Guild Foundation National Fellowship Finalist (2023-2024) and a quarterfinalist in the ScreenCraft Stage Play Competition 2023. She’s been mentored by Kevin Dyer (winner of Best Play, Writers’ Guild of Great Britain) and Stella Duffy. In 2023, after training with Frantic Assembly in London, she started her own physical theatre company Verbooom. In 2024, she wrote for Dragonslayer, an immersive experience produced by AnA Collaborations and which premiered in Seattle. More at alinarios.com.

Chris Harris

Associate Artistic Director, Media Director (he/him)

Chris Harris is a graphic artist working in photo and video mediums. Intrigued by the interplay of visual elements around him, he's been capturing the world on camera from a young age. His work has been published in print in "Understanding Cultural Geography: Places and Traces" and online by outlets such as The Stranger, Three Imaginary Girls, LAist, Seattlest, and Seattle Metblogs. From 2005-2009 he was the lead Photo and Videographer for Groupee Live music sessions, capturing live in-studio performances of rock bands around the country. In 2023, merging his day trade of program management with his art, he joined the Verbooom theatre company as Associate Artistic Director. More at helloimchris.com.

Adriana Hillas

Education & Production Manager (she/they)

Adriana Hillas is a versatile performer, writer, and teaching artist. Growing up abroad most of her life as a third culture kid, theater is always how she found community. She graduated with an MFA in Collaborative Theatre-Making in 2018 from Rose Bruford College in London. With a love for performance that knows no bounds, Adriana has shared her experience in performance and writing, collaborating as an educator with public schools, community centers, nonprofits and shelters in Washington DC, London, New York City, and now Seattle.
